Mr. A.K. Dilip Kumar, the head of the Spare Parts Department, has been with Al Fairuz Group since 1976 and has 35 years of rich experience in spare parts operations for Trucks and Heavy Equipments.
The Central Warehouse is located in Wadi Adai, Muscat, where the availability of spare parts for many brands represented by Al Fairuz is in the tune of 95%. In addition to this we have spare parts outlets maintained at our branches in Salalah & Sohar. Most of our Principals have extensive spare parts facilities in the Jebel Ali Free Zone and this helps us replenish our stock regularly, thereby ensuring that the customers get appropriate spare parts at their time of need.
The Department has a counter sales facility to deliver spare parts at our Head Office. The counter sales personnel are well qualified and specialized, so as to cater to the needs of our customers. We also have 4 technically qualified outdoor salesmen (exclusively for spare parts), who have been deployed to provide parts to the customer at their doorstep. They make frequent visits to the clients at their offices, to make sure that they have an adequate supply of spare parts. The department has two 3 ton pick up trucks to deliver parts at distant worksites. We have arrangements for delivery of spare parts during weekends if the need arises. Such is our commitment to customer satisfaction.

Mr. S. Ramanathan, an Engineer with over 3 decades of technical experience in the Service Industry, from reputed organizations in the UAE & the Sultanate of Oman, heads the Service Department of Al Fairuz Trading & Contracting Co. LLC.
The Department has a team of qualified & factory trained Service Engineers to exclusively handle each brand and its range of products, and they are ably assisted by experienced service mechanics. The main service facility is a full fledged workshop and is located in Wadi Adai next to the Head Office. The branch offices in Salalah and Sohar also have fully equipped service facilities. That apart, the company also has 12 mobile service units to provide service to the customers at their respective sites across the country. Our Service Engineers regularly visit worksites and conduct inspections on the machines to check for their functionality and to perform troubleshooting if necessary.
The department has an air conditioned training centre with modern facilities like a computer system & overhead projector to provide in house training to the operators. There is a Manager in charge of training, whose main responsibility is to organize such training programmes. Our Service Engineers constantly endeavour to update their knowledge about our machines and to pass it on to our Service mechanics. Periodic visits by the Principals of various franchisees and their training sessions for our service personnel and clients ensure that they are abreast with the latest technology incorporated in our products. We also impart training to the customer’s operators at our premises before commissioning a new machine. The Service Department keeps its eyes and ears open to the latest trends in the market, and this has helped them remain up to date in various aspects of the Service Industry.
We have always encouraged interactions between our Service Engineers and the Principals, for bringing about innovations in machines, to better suit the market. This has resulted in enhanced performance of all our products in the local working environment, thus endearing them to our clients. We make it a point to arrange frequent meetings between Principals and the customers, so that our clients get a chance to voice their opinions about the machines. Their feedback has often been of great value to manufacturers, as it has helped them to implement suitable changes in their products, thus making our brands the best in the business.
Currently, we are in the process of setting up two new service centres in Ghala, one exclusively for Astra trucks and the other for heavy machinery. These workshops are equipped with state of the art facilities like overhead cranes and a fully equipped engine overhauling room, so that they conform to the latest standards set by the Service Industry.
